Sean William Green...he and his wife Christina have a daughter Olivia and a son Owen...hobbies include golf and hunting...pitched 3 seasons at the University of Louisville, leading the Cardinals in appearances (26) and saves (4) in 2000...was the 1st Louisville alumnus to reach the major leagues...played baseball and basketball at Male (KY) High School (graduated '97)...was signed by Ty Coslow for the Rockies.

2011

2006

Green made his Major League debut on May 2 at Minnesota after he went 4-1 with four saves and a 1.64 ERA at Triple-A Tacoma to start the season. Green posted a 4.50 ERA in 24 games with Seattle. Green was placed on the disabled list on July 3 after suffering back spasms. Green later was placed on the 60-day disabled list with a strained right side. He didn't allow a run over his final seven appearances.

2005

Combined for a 3.42 ERA (28 ER/73.2 IP) and 15 saves in 54 games at San Antonio (AA) and Tacoma...held opponents to .210 batting average...earned 14 saves in 21 contests at San Antonio and was selected as a Texas League all-star...finished the year in middle relief for Tacoma

Led Tulsa (AA) in relief innings (77.1) and ranked 2nd on the staff in appearances (52) in his final season in the Colorado organization...
