2011

Split the season between Triple-A Colorado Springs (Rockies) and Triple-A Toledo (Tigers)... opened the season with Colorado Springs and hit .234 (15-for-64) in 30 games before being released on June 9...signed with Detroit on June 19 and finished the season with Toledo.

2010

Played all three outfield positions for Triple-A Norfolk...was named an International League midseason All-Star...hit .283 (82-for-290) prior to the All-Star break but .192 (28-for-146) after.

2009

Began season with Triple-A Indianapolis and hit .317 (20-for-63) in his first 16 games thru April 26...Hit safely in eight straight games, April 17-26, batting .375 (12-32)...Hit first home run, April 25 at Columbus...Swiped 3 bases on May 4 vs. Scranton/W-B...Produced season-high 11-game hitting streak, May 11-22, batting .357 (15-42) and raising average from .267 to .293...Homered in both games of a doubleheader at Scranton/W-B on June 22...Had three straight 3-hit games, June 26-28...Was selected by Pittsburgh on July 1 and made first appearance on July 2 vs. NYM, flying out as a pinch hitter...Snapped an 0-for-11 start with Bucs with an RBI-single as a pinch hitter on July 24 at ARI...Went 1-for-23 with one RBI in 21 games with Pittsburgh and was designated for assignment on August 15...Returned to Indianapolis on August 25 and went 4-for-5 in second game back with the club on August 26 vs. Columbus...Made a total of 41 appearances in LF, 38 in CF and 7 in RF while playing with Indianapolis

Split season between Arizona and Tucson (Diamondbacks' AAA)...Established ML career highs in games, at bats, runs, hits and RBI...Led Arizona in pinch hits (10) and finished tied for 13th in that category among National League hitters...Made 27 appearances in LF (13 starts), 18 appearances in RF (eight starts) and four appearances (three starts) in CF...Was a member of Arizona's Opening Day roster...Hit a pinch-hit, solo home run to give Arizona a 4-2 lead in the 7th inning on Opening Day on March 31 at CIN (3rd PH HR of his career)...Was designated for assignment and outrighted to Tucson on July 9...Hit safely in 19 of his 24 games with the Sidewinders...Hit .384 (28-73) with 5 doubles, 2 triples, 4 HR and 15 RBI vs. RHP while playing with Tucson...Had contract selected by Arizona on August 10.

2007

Acquired via waivers from Colorado on March 28 and appeared in 2 spring training games before breaking camp with Tucson (AAA)...Started the season with a 6-game hit streak from April 5-13, including 4 straight multi-hit games, collecting 1 double, 1 triple, 1 home run and 2 RBI over that stretch...Hit home runs in back-to-back games on April 18 & 19...Strung together a season-high 8-game hit streak, batting .438 (14-for-32) with 3 doubles, a triple, a home run and 7 RBI over that stretch...collected a season-high 4 hits on April 27 against Portland...Recalled from Tucson on July 7, making his D-backs debut...Tied a career-high with 3 hits on July 13 against San Diego for his second multi-hit game as a D-back...Against San Diego on July 14, made a leaping back-handed catch over the wall to rob Brian Giles of a home run...Had 33 multi-hit games for the Sidewinders, including a 4-for-6 game with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI on April 27 vs. Portland...Recalled from Tucson on Aug. 15 and had a pinch-hit RBI single at Florida that night...Had a career-high 3 runs scored, on a 2-for-5 outing, Aug. 18 at Atlanta...On Sept. 10 at San Francisco, hit a 2-out, go-ahead, 3-run, pinch-hit home run in the ninth inning to beat the Giants 5-3...it was his second career pinch-hit home run...Did not commit an error over 30 games for the D-backs, in all 3 outfield positions...has not committed an error in his career, a span of 44 games (315.1 innings).

Salazar combined to hit .271 with 12 home runs and 61 RBI in 128 games for Tulsa (AA) and Colorado Springs (AAA)...began the year at Tulsa, batting .278 with 6 home runs and 35 RBI in 69 games...hit .318 (21-for-66) through first 17 games, but batted .164 (10-for-61) over next 16 games from April 25-May 13 to drop to .244...beginning with a 3-for-5, 4-RBI game on May 14 at Arkansas, would hit .309 (43-for-139) over his final 36 games with the Drillers...began that final stretch with an 11-game hit streak from May 14-24 at .435 (20-for-46)...hit a grand slam on May 21 vs. Wichita off one-time Royals first round pick Mike Stodolka...posted season-high 4 hits on April 24 vs. Springfield...played mostly in center, but also saw action in left field...was promoted to the Springs on July 5 and went 1-for-3 with a walk in his Triple-A debut that night vs. Sacramento...hit safely in 46 of 59 games for the Sky Sox, batting .263 with 6 home runs and 26 RBI in 59 games...played mostly center field...hit first Triple-A homer on July 26 at Round Rock off T.J. Salazar split the 2004 campaign between Visalia (High A) and Tulsa (AA), batting a combined .296 with 31 doubles, 14 home runs and 61 RBI in 133 games...set a Rockies organizational record with 118 runs scored, second most in all of minor league baseball behind the Marlins' Joe Dillon (122)...Jeff also led the Rockies farm system in games, at-bats (538), triples (11) and walks (73)...stole a combined 27 bases in 32 attempts (84%)...was named a post-season California League All-Star after hitting .347 with 13 HR and 44 RBI in 75 games for Visalia...at the time of his promotion, he was leading the Cal League in average, hits (109), extra-base hits (40), runs scored (79) and slugging percentage (.586)...he wound up 19 plate appearances shy of qualifying for the batting title...was transferred to Tulsa on July 5 where he hit .223 with a homer and 17 RBI in his first shot at Double A ball...was batting .264 through Aug. 2 but hit just .177 (17-for-96) over his final 27 contests as a Driller...belted a grand slam for Visalia on May 26 vs. Modesto...Baseball America tabbed Salazar as a mid-season classification all-star and also labeled him as the Cal League's "Best Baserunner" and "Best Defensive Outfielder"...by mid-June, Jeff had risen as high as sixth on Baseball America's "Prospect Hot Sheet" for all of the minors...he wound up being ranked as the 10th best prospect in the Cal League by that publication. in 2002, his junior year.

2003

Garnered the highest post-season accolades in the organization, as he was named a Class AAll- Star by both Baseball America and Topps en route to capturing the Rockies Organizational Player of the Year award...tabbed a post-season all-star by the South Atlantic League and Sportsticker rated him as the seventh- best outfielder in the minors...led all of minor league baseball with 110 runs scored...paced the organization and South Atlantic League in both home runs (29) and RBI (98)...his HR total tied for sixth in the minors at year's end...led the SAL in total bases (256) and finished second in extra-base hits (56), slugging (.527) and walks (77)...the league's top power hitter walked more times than he struck out...with 28 stolen bases, Salazar came the closest to a 30/30 season in the minor leagues...was named to Baseball America's All-Defensive Team after he tied for the league lead with 21 outfield assists...belted a grand slam on April 28 vs. Charleston, WV....went 5-for-5 with 5 runs scored on June 14 vs. Charleston, S.C....promoted to Visalia on Aug. 31 in time for the playoffs...participated in all seven postseason games, hitting .118 (2-for-17).

2002

Tied for the Northwest League lead with 72 games in his pro debut at Tri City (Short-A)...finished with the third most walks (47) and triples (4) in the NWL...walked more times than he struckout (43).
