Yorman Michael Osorio Bazardo (pronounced YOUR-mahn bah-ZAR-doh)...originally signed by the Florida Marlins, just eight days after his 16th birthday, July 19, 2000.
2010
Spent the entire season with Triple-A Round Rock making 29 relief appearances and five starts...started the season on the 15-day disabled list, March 26 with a shoulder injury...went on rehab assignment with Round Rock, April 20...returned from rehab, April 23 and outrighted off Houston's roster...Earned his only save of the season, April 22 vs. Omaha, allowing one run on three hits in 2.0 innings of relief...Earned his first win of the season, May 23 vs. Reno, tossing 1.0 scoreless inning of relief with one hit and one strikeout...Posted a 3.03 ERA (38.2 ip, 13 er) in 22 games Pre-All-Star break...posted a 1.38 ERA (13.0 ip, 2 er) in seven June games...Five of his final eight games were starts, going 2-2 in those starts, with 25 strikeouts and nine walks in 29.1 innings...Pitched in the Venezuelan Winter Leagues with Tigres de Aragua, going 7-2, 2.63 (72.0 ip, 21 er) with one complete game in 12 starts.

2006
Bazardo spent the entire 2006 season at Double-A San Antonio, where he made 25 starts for the Missions. Bazardo was 6-5 with a 3.64 ERA while pitching in the Texas League -- one that has a reputation for being a hitter's league. Bazardo posted 80 strikeouts in 138 1/3 innings and walked 45. Bazardo had a 3.02 ERA before the All-Star break and a 4.16 ERA after it.
2005
Spent the majority of the season at double-A, but did make his Major League debut with Florida...acquired by Seattle at the trade deadline, finishing season with San Antonio...Went 8-7, 3.99 in 19 starts for double-A Carolina, Florida's affiliate in the Southern League...was 6-2, 3.92 in 10 home starts, 2-5, 4.08 over nine road games...had 12 quality starts...Won his first three outings, allowing six earned runs in 19.0 innings...3-1, 3.12 over four April outings...Notched a 2.91 ERA (11ER/34.0IP) from April 18-May 9...allowed just two hits over 8.0 innings in beating Tennessee on April 23...Allowed two runs or less seven times and pitched 6.0 or more innings 13 times with Carolina...Recalled from Carolina May 26...made big league debut that night vs. the New York Mets...pitched 1.2 innings in relief, getting a no-decision...allowed five hits and five runs with two walks and two strikeouts in 12-4 loss...optioned to Carolina after the game...Went 3-1, 4.28 in six starts for San Antonio after being acquired by Seattle on July 31...had three quality starts...pitched 7.0 shutout innings in his first start for San Antonio, beating Corpus Christi on Aug. 15 at home...fanned a season-high eight batters on Aug. 27 vs. Frisco.

Went 5-9 with a 3.27 ERA in 25 starts with High A Jupiter... walked 30 and struck out 95 in 154.1 innings pitched while allowing a .274 batting average against...finished fourth in the organization in innings pitched with 154.1, fourth in ERA (3.27), first in shutouts (2), tied for first in complete games (2) and tied for fourth in losses (9)...went 3-5 with a 2.73 ERA in 15 home starts and 2-4 with a 4.14 ERA in 10 starts on the road...tossed two complete-game shutouts on the season, a nine-inning two-hitter on May 4 at Clearwater where he walked one and fanned six and a seven-inning one-hitter on July 24 vs. St. Lucie, allowing one walk while striking out four...earned Florida State League Player of the Week honors for May 24-30, going 2-0 with a 1.15 ERA and striking out 10 in 15.2 innings.
2003
Spent the season with Low A Greensboro, his first year of full-season ball... tossed 130.0 innings and posted a 9-8 record with a 3.12 ERA in 21 starts... finished first in the South Atlantic League in shutouts (2) and was second in complete games (4)... did not allow a run through his first two starts, tossing 13.0 scoreless innings while allowing seven hits, one walk and nine strikeouts...tossed three consecutive complete games to finish the season, including back-to-back shutouts.
2002
Made 25 appearances in relief for Jamestown, posting a 5-0 record with a 2.72 ERA and six saves...went 4-0 with a 1.90 ERA and three saves in 15 appearances on the road and 1-0 with a 4.26 ERA and three saves in 10 appearances at home.
