2011

Split the 2011 season between the Colorado and Florida after being acquired from Seattle in December 2010 by the Rockies...After appearing in 38 games with Colorado (released on June 7), he was signed by Florida on June 9 and split the remainder of the season between Florida and Triple-A New Orleans...With the Zephyrs, he hit .400 (50-125) with 9 2B, 9HR & 30RBI in 32 games (1.118OPS) and concluded the season by hitting .273 (21-77) with 7 2B, 6HR & 13RBI over his final 32 games with Florida (2nd stint, .597SLG)...On the year at the big league level he appeared in 39 games at third base, 20 games at second base and 8 at first base...Reported to AAA New Orleans upon signing w/Florida and had his contract selected between games of a doubleheader at Philadelphia on June 15 and made his Marlins' debut in game two...Batted .103 (3-29) in a 12-game stint with the club before he was designated for assignment on July 2 and outrighted to New Orleans on July 7...In his second stint with the Zephyrs, he played in 28 games and batted .396 (44-111) with 9 2B, 8HR & 29 RBI. Lopez finished his first full season as an All-Star, hitting .282 with 10 home runs and 79 RBIs. Lopez hit one home run in the second half of the season, but he actually hit for a higher average (.285 compared to .280) after the All-Star break. Lopez hit .323 in September. He scored the tying run in the All-Star Game as a pinch-runner.

2005

Began season on the disabled list, but concluded year as the Mariners' everyday second aseman...Was on the disabled list from April 6-May 14 and again from May 23-June 9 due to a fractured hook of the hamate bone in his left hand...Surgery was performed by Dr. Donald Sheridan in April...Recalled by Seattle for the first time on June 17...optioned July 1...recalled a second time on July 3...optioned on July 28...Recalled on Aug. 30 and batted .261 (29x111) the remainder of the season...Logged a career-high nine-game hitting streak from Sept. 17-27 (14x34/.412)...Batted .333 (17x51) from Sept. 14-29, hitting safely in 11 of 13 games...Notched a career-high four hits (4x5) on Sept. 27 vs. Texas...Hit .295 (18x61) over his final 16 games...Hit .333 (18x54) with runners in scoring position, .312 (29x93) with runners on base...Batted .385 (5x13) in five Interleague games...Hit safely in 36 of 44 games at Tacoma, batting .319 (58x182)...Had a 17-game (30x73/.411) hitting streak from Aug. 8-23.
