Didn't allow a run in his first appearance with New York on May 6th at Arizona...Worked a career-high 0.2 innings...Had his contract selected from New Orleans (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League on May 3rd...Optioned to New Orleans on May 15th...Went 1-0 with six saves and a 5.84 ERA in 10 games with the Zephyrs before his contract was selected by the Mets...Was suspended 50 games on May 16th after violating Major League Baseball's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program...Began his Major League Rehabilitation Assignment on June 22nd with the Gulf Coast Mets...Also appeared in two games with St. Lucie (A) of the Florida State League...Was Designated for Assignment on July 11th...Finished the season with Binghamton (AA) of the Eastern League...Went 1-1 with three saves...Did not permit an earned run in 11 of his 16 outings...Held lefthanded batters to a .231 (9-39) batting average in the Eastern League.
