Was recalled July 9 and made five more appearances for 20 on the season... Was 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA in seven innings after his recall...Held RH hitters to a .205 avg. (9-44) and has now held righties to a .154 avg. (21-36) over his career...In 13 games, posted a 1.23 ERA at Rogers Centre... Held opponents to two runs in 14.2 IP... Began the season at (A) Dunedin, posting a 1-4 record with an ERA of 6.00 in five starts... Was promoted to New Hampshire (AA) on May 5...Appeared in 24 games for the Fisher Cats (two starts), going 1-3 with a 5.74 ERA...Made 11 relief appearances in June compiling an ERA of 0.54... Allowed only 12 hits and one ER covering 16.2 IP... Was placed on the disabled list July 19, and was re-instated Aug. 30... Made seven appearances of 2.0 innings or more.
