Helped Vero Beach win a first-half Florida State League Eastern Division crown and then was promoted to Double-A Jacksonville, where he participated in the Suns' drive to the Southern League co-championship...was a combined 10-7 with a 3.08 ERA and 127 strikeouts in 140.1 IP...selected to pitch in the Florida State League All-Star Game...in his first week with Jacksonville was named Southern League Pitcher-of-the-Week for 6/29-7/5 after going 1-0, allowing just 1R and 8H in two starts covering 12.0 IP.
