Although Tracy hit .281 with 20 home runs and set career highs in RBIs (81) and doubles (41), he struggled a bit in 2006. He struck out 129 times, compared to only 78 strikeouts in 2005. With 25 errors, Tracy tied Edwin Encarnacion for the most in the Majors at third base. Tracy led the team with 597 at-bats.
