Spent the majority of the season with Class-AAA Columbus, going 1-2 with a 3.13 ERA (11 ER/31.2 IP) and 16 saves in 30 appearances (one start)...also went 1-2 with a 4.50 ERA (8 ER/16.0 IP) in 10 relief appearances with Cleveland...was a non-roster invitee to Spring Training...began the season with the clippers...was on the disabled list from 4/21-5/6 with right shoulder tendinitis...his contract was purchased on 5/17...earned his lone win with 2.0 scoreless IP on 5/27 vs. Tampa Bay...was designated for assignment on 6/19 and spent the rest of the season at Columbus...was signed by the Sox as a free agent on 12/14...made seven relief appearances with Estrellas of the Dominican Winter League.

Aquino began the 2008 season on the Baltimore Orioles Major League roster and made 9 relief appearances over 2 stints with the Orioles in April and July (0-0, 12.54ERA, 9.1IP, 17H, 13ER). During his 2nd stint he was placed on the disabled list on July 19 with a left hamstring strain and was later outrighted to AAA Norfolk on August 29 after several rehab appearances along the Orioles minor league chain...Between his stints in Baltimore he enjoyed a very successful stint at AAA Norfolk, going 2-2 w/9 saves and a 2.45 ERA in 23 outings (25.2IP, 23H, 7ER, 6BB, 29K, .240AVG)...RH hitters at Triple A batted .200 (10-50) off him (0HR) and over his last 12 outings for Norfolk he was 1-1-5 w/a 1.42 ERA (12.2IP, 10H, 2ER, 16K)...Acquired by Baltimore on December 14, 2007 off waivers from Milwaukee.

Went 0-1 with a 4.50 ERA in 15 relief appearances as he had 2 stints with the Brewers...Began the season on the Opening Day roster and went 0-0 with a 5.87 ERA in 8 appearances before he was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on 4/21...On 4/25 was placed on the 15-day disabled list with right forearm tightness (option was voided)...On 5/21 was sent to Nashville on a rehab assignment...On 5/25 was reinstated from the disabled list and optioned to Nashville...Went 3-2 with a 2.33 ERA and 7 saves in 35 relief appearances at Nashville, holding opponents to a .193 batting average...Was recalled from Nashville on 8/31 and went 0-1 with a 2.84 ERA in 7 appearances to end the season...Suffered his loss on 9/3 vs. Houston...Retired 9 of 15 first batters faced (60%)...Stranded 1 of 9 inherited runners (11.1%)

Went 2-0 with a 4.47 ERA in 42 relief appearances with Arizona...Posted a 5.34 ERA prior to the All-Star Break (30.1ip, 18er) and a 3.00 ERA after the break (18ip, 6er)...Established career highs in appearances, innings (48.1) and strikeouts (51) and recorded the first wins of his Major League career...Had 8 outings in which he pitched a career-high 2.0 innings...Retired 22 of 42 first batters faced (52.4%)...Stranded 10 of 15 inherited runners (66.7%)...Earned his first Major League victory in a 5-4 win on 4/12 vs. Colorado (1.1ip, 2k)...Was optioned to Triple-A Tucson on 5/20 and went 2-0 with 1 save in 9 relief appearances (11.2ip)...Was recalled on 6/8...Was on the 15-day disabled list from 8/14-8/31 with right elbow soreness (retroactive to 8/8).
2005
Missed 62 games from April 5-June 11 with irritation in his right ulna nerve and could not recapture the success he had in 2004. ... He recorded a career-best three strikeouts in picking up his first save of the year on July 30 against the Cubs. ... Best stretch of the year came from July 28-August 19 when he had a 0.96 ERA.
2004
Split the season between Triple-A Tucson and Arizona...Began the season at Tucson, where he went 1-3 with a 6.37 ERA and 1 save in 21 games (2 starts)...Was on Tucson's disabled list from 4/30-5/14 with right shoulder inflammation...Was first recalled by Arizona on 6/20 but did not appear in a game and was optioned back to the minors on 6/28...Was again recalled on 6/30...Posted a 1.69 ERA (10.2ip, 2er) over his last 10 outings with Tucson...Went 0-2 with a 3.06 ERA and 16 saves in 34 relief appearances with Arizona.....held opponents to a .194 BA...Made his Major League debut on 7/2 vs. Minnesota and tossed 2.0 scoreless innings (1h, 2bb)...Recorded his first Major League save on 7/26 at Houston in the victory that snapped the Diamondbacks' club record 14-game losing streak...Opened the season with no previous experience as a closer but established a single-season club record for rookies with his 16 saves...His save total led National League rookies and ranked third in the majors behind the White Sox' Shingo Takatsu (19) and Blue Jays' Jason Frasor (17)...Went 16-for-19 in save opportunities, including 10 straight conversions to begin his career.

Was 7-3 with a 3.46 ERA in 20 starts at Double-A El Paso...Had a pair of stints on the disabled list with a strained right shoulder (5/25-6/1 and 6/9-7/21)...Was selected to the Texas League All-Star Game but was unable to pitch due to injury...Had a season-high 10 strikeouts over 4.1 innings in a no decision on 8/9 vs. San Antonio...Also had two 9-strikeout efforts: 5/12 at Round Rock (7ip) and 8/25 vs. Frisco (6ip).
2002
Went a combined 5-2 with a 3.00 ERA in 14 starts between Class-A Yakima and Class-A Lancaster...Began the season at Yakima, where he went 1-1 with a 2.06 ERA in 6 starts.....held opponents to a .213 BA...Was transferred to Lancaster in mid-July and went 4-1 with a 3.67 ERA in 8 starts...Struck out a season-high 11 batters over 7.0 innings in a no decision on 8/13 vs. San Jose.
2001
Went a combined 6-7 with a 5.60 ERA in 33 games (12 starts) between Class-A Lancaster and Class-A Yakima...Was on the disabled list from 4/23-5/20 with a right elbow strain.
2000
Went 5-7 with a 4.46 ERA in 29 games (18 starts) at Class-A South Bend in his first full season as a pitcher...Made his first 18 appearances of the season as a starter, going 3-6 with a 4.61 ERA...Made his last 11 appearances as a reliever, going 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA.
