after being acquired in trade on September 1 in exchange for a player to be named or cash considerations...hit .300
(27-for-90) with 3 doubles, a triple, a homer, 8 RBI and 2 stolen bases in 27 games (25 starts) with the Nationals...in less than one month (27 games, 90 at-bats) with Washington, legged out 8 bunt hits to tie for 10th in MLB (7th in
the NL)...only Ryan Zimmerman (11) legged out more bunt hits among Nationals...defensively, locked down center
field and the gaps for the Nationals, making numerous diving catches to thwart opponent rallies...after being acquired,

Logan made the Opening Day roster as a spare outfielder, but soon was pressed into duty
when Magglio Ordonez went on the disabled list. He had three hits and robbed the Orioles of two home runs April 19 at Camden Yards, part of an eight-game hitting streak that earned him the center field job while Ordonez was out. He went 8-for-12 in a three-game series at Texas May 9-11, making a highlight dash home from first base on a wild pitch and throwing error.
2004
Spent the majority of the season as the starting center fielder at Triple A Toledo, before seeing his first major league action in two separate stints with Detroit -- tabbed the Detroit Sports Broadcasters' Association Tigers Rookie of the Year...Led all Tigers minor leaguers and ranked second in the International League with 38 stolen bases, while also ranking fifth in the league with nine triples...Batted .188 (9x48) with five stolen bases in his first 13 games with Toledo April 8-21...Stole a season-high two bases April 17 at Charlotte -- matched the high April 24 at Louisville, May 10 versus Buffalo, June 14 at Norwich and June 18 at Richmond...Scored a season-high three runs April 28 versus Columbus...also scored three runs May 29 at Rochester...Collected three hits and a season-high four RBI April 29 versus Columbus... - Topped his Single A Lakeland club with 506 at-bats, 136 hits and 55 stolen bases...tied for the team high with 75 runs scored and seven triples.
- Led the Florida State League in stolen bases and stolen base success rate (77.5 percent), in addition to finishing fifth with 506 at-bats.
- Topped all league outfielders with 316 putouts.
- First among all Tigers minor leaguers in stolen bases.
- Eighth among all players in Single A and 10th in the minors with his 55 stolen bases.
- Struggled during April, batting .214 (15x70) with 21 strikeouts in 16 games.
