2006

He set career bests in home runs (9), RBIs (32), runs (28), hits (75) and games played (86). Quinlan, who platooned at first and third base, hit .321 against left-handed pitching in 2006. He compiled a 17-game hitting streak from Aug. 2 to Sept. 1. Quinlan finished the season batting .367 over his final 42 games. He hit his first career pinch-hit home run against the Diamondbacks on June 24, the eventual game-winning hit in the top of the 13th inning.
