Opened the season with Triple-A Columbus and appeared in a career-high 55 games out of
the bullpen for the Clippers...also tied a career-high with 10 saves...posted a 2-0 record with a 1.56 ERA (3
ER/17.1 IP) over 12 games in April and posted a 2.16 ERA (4 ER/16.2 IP) over 13 games in May...did not allow
a run in 15 of his fi rst 16 appearances and 20 of his fi rst 22...was recalled by the Yankees on July 1 and
pitched 2.0 scoreless innings that night in Detroit...earned his second big league win on July 4 vs. Baltimore
after allowing one run in 1.2 innings...appeared in just three games for the Yankees posting a 7.94 ERA before
rejoining Columbus...went on to post a 4-1 record with a 2.66 ERA (20 ER/67.2 IP) at Triple-A.
2004
Spent spring training with the Mets but was designated for assignment on 4/4...was claimed
off waivers by Cleveland on 4/8 and was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo...was recalled by Cleveland on 4/23 and
made his only appearance of the season that night at Detroit...allowed 4BB, 5ER and 1H (a grand slam to
Brandon Inge) in 1.0IP...was optioned back to Buffalo on 4/25...was placed on the seven-day disabled list with
Buffalo on 5/17 with back inflammation...was designated for assignment on 5/27 and was claimed off waivers
by the Yankees on 6/1...spent the remainder of the season at Triple-A Columbus, going 1-3 with a 4.63 ERA in

Tampa before being promoted to Norwich on 5/10...made 16 relief appearances with Norwich, going 1-1 with
