of big leagues via September promotion...hit .288 with 6 stolen bases in 24 games for BAL this season in big league
debut...made that debut on September 1 at TOR and had 2 hits, including a triple, and a stolen base...first big league
hit was an infield single off Dustin McGowan in the 3rd inning...also drew a walk in first game to become the first player
in MLB in '05 to reach safely in his first 3 plate appearances of his major league debut...made 11 starts at 2B, 7 at
DH, one in LF (September 18 vs. TBR), entered as a pinch-hitter 3 times and pinch-ran twice...was in Sam Perlozzo's
starting lineup in 14 of the season's final 15 contests...was outrighted following the end of the season.

WITH GREENSBORO: Led the South Atlantic League with a club-record tying 67 stolen bags, a mark shared in part by former big league-speedster Otis Nixon...started slowly with Greensboro of the South Atlantic League, but batted .324 in June...reached base 33 times in 19 June contests...stole 10 bases in April, 19 in May, 10 in June and 20 in July...batted .292 against left-handed pitching, .246 when facing southpaws...led off 24 innings with walks...posted 5 straight 2-hit games, July 9-14...swiped 9 bags in a 5-game stretch, May 25-June 2...stole 4 bases on July 2 at Macon (Braves).
WITH STATEN ISLAND: Made his New York-Penn league debut on August 19 vs. Hudson Valley (Devil Rays)...hit safely in 4 of his first 5 NY-P League contests, going 10-for-22 (.455), including a 5-for-5 effort on August 23 at Jamestown (Braves)...closed the season on a 6-game hitting streak (9-for-23, .391).
WINTER WONDERLAND: In 36 games with the Augilas, led the Dominican Winter League with in batting (.349), stolen bases (20) and runs scored (37)...also ranked 3rd in on-base percentage at .447 thanks to 23 walks...teammates included Raul Mondesi, Miguel Tejada and Bartolo Colon.
