Missed the 2011 season after undergoing "Tommy John" surgery on his left elbow in 2010...pitched for Mexicali in the Mexican Pacific Winter League following the season...was 1-1 with a 1.17 ERA in 32 relief appearances...struck out 40 and walked 22 in 30.2 innings...averaged 11.74 strikeouts per nine innings...did not surrender an extra base hit...held the opposition to a .134 batting average, including .091 (3-for-33) against left-handed pitchers and .156 (10-for-56) against right-handers...issued 19 of his 22 walks to right-handed hitters for a .365 on-base percentage...lefties had a .167 on-base percentage... yielded a .103 average with runners in scoring position...opponents were 0-for-12 with RISP and two outs...compiled a 0.55 ERA in 18 appearances at home, 1.88 in 14 games on the road...allowed 2 of 12 (16.7%) inherited runners to score...did not allow an earned run in 30 of his 32 appearances...had an 18-game scoreless streak from Oct. 22 to Nov. 27 (16.1 ip, 6 h, 8 bb, 21 so)...compiled a 1.35 ERA in eight postseason games (6.2 ip, 6 h, 1 r, 1 er, 2 bb, 8 so).

Made 11 appearances with the White Sox before suffering a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow Aug. 27 against New York (AL)...posted a 0.00 ERA (12.1 ip) and a .220 average against with the Sox prior to the injury...left-handers were 4-for-14 (.286)...his contract was selected from Triple- A Charlotte June 27...made his season debut with 1.0 scoreless innings June 30 against Kansas City, marking his first outing in the majors since April 18, 2008 at St. Louis...was on the 15-day disabled list from July 31 to Aug. 25 with turf toe on his left great toe...made three rehabilitation appearances with Charlotte...pitched in two games before suffering the season-ending injury against the Yankees...was placed on the disabled list again Aug. 28 and was transferred to the 60-day disabled list Sept. 3...began the season with the Knights and went 1-0 with a 0.86 ERA and two saves in 17 relief appearances.
2009
Spent the entire season with Class-AAA Albuquerque, going 3-0 with a 1.52 era (7 ER/41.1 IP) and one save in 33 games, his first season with the Dodgers organization...compiled a 0.39 ERA (1 ER/23.1 IP) over his final 19 appearances...picked up his only save on 5/8 at New Orleans (1 ER/1.1 IP)...went on the disabled list on 7/25 with inflammation in his left elbow and missed the remainder of the season.
2008
Made San Francisco's opening day roster and appeared in seven games with the giants, going 0-1 with a 3.60 era (4 ER/10.0 IP) and six strikeouts...went on the giants disabled list on 4/19 with a right intercostal muscle strain...was reinstated from the disabled list on 6/2 and was designated for assignment the same day...was outrighted to Class-AAA Fresno on 6/11 and finished the year with the Grizzlies.
2007
Enjoyed 1st taste of ML action, being recalled from triple-A Fresno Sept. 4... pitched in 3 games with SF, but yielded 5 earned runs in 2.1 innings (19.29 ERA)...made big league debut Sept. 12 vs. Arizona, surrendering 2 runs in 1.0 inning...logged solid season with Grizzlies, going 3-1 with 1 save and 3.46 ERA in 40 games (3 starts)...overall ERA was skewed dramatically by his 3 starts (12er, 8.1ip - 12.96 ERA)...fashioned 1.75 ERA (9er, 46.1ip) and .189 avg. against (30-for-159) in 37 relief appearances...enjoyed great success in Mexican Pacific League, going 1-2 with 1.69 ERA (4er, 21.1ip) in 18 relief appearances for Hermosillo.
2006
Served as triple-A Fresno's top left-handed reliever, posting 2.86 ERA (20er, 63ip) in 49 appearances...ERA mark was career-best and tops among Grizzlies hurlers (min. 11.0ip)...limited opposing batters to .219 batting avg. (51-for-233), with just 4 HRs...missed last week of season with left shoulder strain.
2005
Enjoyed healthy campaign after missing all of 2004 season due to injury...made career-high 30 relief appearances for double-A Norwich, going 1-2 with 2 saves and 5.08 ERA...held left-handed batters to paltry .185 avg. (10-for-54), with 14 strikeouts...pitched better as season wore on, forging 1.80 ERA (1er, 5.0ip) in 4 Aug. outings.
2004
Missed entire season after undergoing surgery May 15 to repair torn muscle in left shoulder.
2003
Made 33 relief outings between double-A Norwich and single-A Hagerstown, combining for 2-3 mark and 5.61 ERA (38er, 61.0ip)...again had more strikeouts (63) than innings pitched, and held opponents to miniscule .192 avg. against (41-for-213)...however, also issued 63 walks...opened year at Norwich, but was transferred to Hagerstown after posting 15.88 ERA (20er, 11.1ip) with Navigators...fashioned 3.26 mark (18er, 49.2ip) in 22 games with Suns, including 2.31 ledger (6er, 23.1ip) over his final 9 outings.
2002
Spent entire season working out of bullpen with single-A San Jose, going 0-1 with 6.67 ERA (21er, 28.1ip) in 26 games...had 15 more strikeouts than innings pitched, fanning 43.
2001
Split campaign between San Jose and Hagerstown, logging 3.24 ERA (30er, 83.1ip) in 26 games (14 starts)...began year in rotation for San Jose, where hard-luck loser posted respectable 4.25 ERA (28er, 59.1ip) but was 0-10 in 14 starts...was sent to Hagerstown July 9 and excelled in relief role down stretch...in 12 outings out of Suns' bullpen, posted 2-0 record with save and 0.75 ERA (2er, 24.0ip)...was named club's Player of Month for August.
