Dustin Aaron Moseley...he and his wife Carly have a son, Cooper...graduate of Arkansas High School in Texarkana, Ark...brother, Dylan pitched at Louisiana Tech from 2005-08...supports the Miracle League of Arkansas which provides opportunities for disabled children to play baseball...originally signed by Reds' scout Jimmy Gonzalez.

Set career highs in starts, innings, ERA and strikeouts in his first year with the Padres...Made the starting rotation out of Spring Training and began the season with six straight quality starts, with a 1.63 ERA (7 ER/38.2 IP) over that stretch...Finished the season at 3-10 despite posting a 3.30 ERA...since 1914, his .231 winning percentage ranks third lowest among any Major League pitcher to make at least 20 starts and post an ERA of 3.30 or lower...The Padres were shutout in five of his 20 starts, the most for a Padres pitcher since 2001...averaged 2.55 runs of support per 9.0 IP...Placed on the 15-day disabled list 7/31 with a strained left shoulder...missed the remainder of the season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on 8/3 to repair the capsule and labrum...had previously dislocated the shoulder 6/8 vs. COL during an at-bat.

2006
He started two games for the Angels in 2006 and went 1-0 with a 9.00 ERA. Moseley made his Major League debut on July 17 against the Indians and earned his first career victory, pitching five innings and allowing four runs on 10 hits. He allowed seven earned runs on 10 hits in four innings against the A's on Oct. 1 in the season finale. Moseley pitched two scoreless innings against the Rangers out of the bullpen on Sept. 16, allowing two hits. He struck out three and walked two in his 11 innings with the Angels. Moseley went 13-8 with three complete games and a 4.63 ERA in a team-best 26 starts with Triple-A Salt Lake, his second year in the Angels organization. He also led the Bees in wins (13), IP (149 2/3) and strikeouts (114). Moseley was added to the Angels' 40-man roster before his July spot start.
2005

Posted a 5-6 record with a 3.83 ERA in 18 starts with Chattanooga, striking out 73 in 112 2/3 innings while allowing 116 hits and 28 walks...was 2-3 with a 2.70 ERA in eight starts with Louisville, striking out 27 in 50 innings while giving up 46 hits and 14 walks.

Went 6-3 with a 2.74 ERA in 14 starts, including two shutouts, with the Class A-Advanced Stockton Ports of the California League, striking out 80 in 88 2/3 innings while giving up 60 hits and 21 walks...was second in the league in both shutouts (two) and complete games (two)...was 5-6 with a 4.13 ERA in 13 starts with Chattanooga, striking out 52 in 80 2/3 innings while giving up 91 hits and 37 walks.
