Ohman appeared in a career-high 78 games. He held opponents scoreless in 63 of those games. He matched his career high with four strikeouts on Aug. 28, while tying his season high of two scoreless innings of relief. From June 16-July 30, he had a 1.72 ERA in 18 appearances, and struck out 18 in that stretch.

Will spent the season at Iowa (AAA), going 3-3 with a 4.30 ERA in 45 games (1 start)...struck out 75 batters in 52.1 innings on the mound...earned his first win since the 2001 season April 29 at Albuquerque - striking out the only two batters he faced...worked a season-high 3.0 innings April 22 at Oklahoma - allowing 4 hits and a run while striking out 3 batters...struck out four of the five batters he faced July 27 vs. Tucson...was on the disabled list June 10-July 2 with inflammation in his left elbow.

Will tore the ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow while pitching in winter ball (Los Mochis of the Mexican Pacific League) and missed the entire campaign ... underwent the "Tommy John" procedure January 16 ... the surgery was performed by Dr. Lewis Yocum.
