Appeared in two games over two separate stints with the Rockies, spending the majority of the year with Triple-A Colorado Springs...led Colorado Springs with eight saves and also the club's relievers with four wins
2009
Went combined 4-2 with a 6.87 ERA (36.2 ip, 28 er) in 33 games between Detroit and Colorado...prior to joining the Rockies he began the season with Detroit, making 7 appearances with the Tigers from April 6-May 5, 2009...he allowed runs in 4 of those 7 games before being designated for assignment by the club on May 13...signed as a minor league free agent with Colorado on May 25 and went 1-0 record with a 1.04 ERA (8.2 ip, 1 er) and 3-for-3 in save opportunities in 8 games for Colorado Springs...Rox purchased his contract from on June 20 and he made his first appearance in a Rox uniform on 6/22 at LAA, tossing a scoreless 8th inning...earned first win with Rox 7/9 vs. ATL, his first career NL win (424th game)...on the 15-day DL from Aug. 1-26 (right elbow stiffness), his first career trip to the DL...tossed 4.0 perfect innings 8/26, the first time in his career to pitch as many as 4.0 innings without allowing a hit (6 prior games with 4.0-plus innings, including 2 starts)...Rincon allowed runs in just 10 outings with the Rox, but in 7 of those 10 games he allowed multiple runs...he struck out 25 batters but walked 20 while with the Rockies...he inherited 19 runners while with Colorado, none of which scored while he was on the mound.

Saw action with both the Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Indians during the 2008 season, appearing in 47 games between the two stops -- marked his fewest appearances at the major league level since he appeared in 10 games with the Twins during the 2002 season..Opened the season with the Twins -- compiled a 3.24 ERA (16.2IP/6ER) in his first 15 outings of the season April 1-May 16, before posting a 10.32 ERA (11.1PI/13ER) over his final nine appearances with the Twins May 18-June 8...Designated for assignment by the Twins on June 13 -- he was unconditionally released on June 20...Signed by Cleveland as a minor league free agent on June 24 -- assigned to Triple A Buffalo by the Indians...Had his contract purchased from Buffalo by the Indians on July 9...Appeared in 26 games prior to the all-star break, posting a 2-2 record and 6.98 ERA (29.2IP/23ER)...finished 1-1 with a 4.56 ERA (25.2IP/13ER) in 21 outings following the all-star break...Saw action in four outings with Lara in the Venezuelan Winter League following the season.
