Switch-hitting middle infielder embarks on 11th professional campaign as non-roster invitee after signing minor league deal with Giants over winter...has seen big league action with Pittsburgh (2001), New York-NL (2001) and Toronto (2006)...was originally signed as non-drafted free agent by Pittsburgh, March 31, 1997. Attended Berkshire (Homestead, FL) High School...son (Luis Gibram)...daughter ( Janishka M.).
2006
Went to Spring Training with Toronto as non-roster invitee...spent majority of only campaign in Blue Jays organization at triple-A Syracuse...however, had 8-game stint with Toronto May 26-June 10...contract was purchased May 26...appeared as defensive replacement May 27 vs.White Sox for 1st ML appearance since July 2, 2001 (at Montreal while with Mets)...registered 1st big league hit May 28, 2B off Chicago's Jon Garland...went 1-for-8 with 2B in 8 games for Jays, making 2 starts (1 at 2B, 1 at SS)...was designated for assignment June 10 and outrighted to Toronto June 12...hit .276 with 22 2Bs, 3 3Bs, 6 HRs and 38 RBI in 93 games for Sky Chiefs.
2005
Logged full season at triple-A Pawtucket in Boston organization...hit .289 with 22 2Bs, career-high 7 HRs and 48 RBI in 109 games...played for Mayaguez of Puerto Rico Winter League, leading league in hitting (.417), hits (68), doubles (14) and on-base percentage (.467)...tied for 2nd in extra-base hits (17) and runs scored (28), while finishing 3rd in slugging (.546).
2004
Spent entire season at triple-A Indianapolis, after signing with Milwaukee...posted another solid season, batting .272 with 14 2Bs, 5 HRs and 48 RBI in 116 games...made appearances at 5 different positions (SS, 2B, 3B, LF and CF)...finished 3rd on team in RBI and T-3rd in hits (104).
2003
Finished 2-year stay in Expos organization, by spending campaign with triple-A Edmonton...had his best season as professional, batting .317 with 30 2Bs, 2 HRs and 44 RBI in 126 games...ranked 4th in Pacific Coast League with 126 hits, while ranking 9th with .317 avg.
2002
Began season at triple-A Norfolk in Mets organization, but after 2 games was traded April 5 to Montreal...was sent to triple-A Ottawa, where he played 21 games before being sent down to single-A Brevard County...played 15 games for Brevard County and batted .262 with 2B and 8 RBI before being promoted to double-A Harrisburg...spent majority of season with Harrisburg, playing 66 games and batting .272 with 17 2Bs, 3 3Bs, HR and 30 RBI.
2001
Made his big league debut with Pittsburgh before being claimed on waivers by Mets...began season with triple-A Nashville and spent majority of campaign with Sounds...contract was purchased by Pittsburgh June 27...made Major League debut as defensive replacement same night vs.Milwaukee...made total of 3 appearances at 2nd base...made 1st big league plate appearance June 29 at Montreal and popped out...was optioned back to Nashville July 3...was named to Pacific Coast League squad for triple-A All-Star Game...was designated for assignment Aug.13 and claimed off waivers by New York Mets Aug.15...was optioned to Norfolk, before being recalled by Mets Sept.11...appeared in 4 games for Mets, going 0-for-2.

In final full year in Bucs' chain, began 2nd season with double-A Altoona before earning promotion to Nashville.

Played entire season at Altoona, batting .263 with 15 2Bs, 5 3Bs, 3 HRs and 50 RBI.
1998
Finished 2nd on double-A Carolina's roster for games (117) and walks (71)...primarily shortstop, batted .249 with 9 2Bs, 3 3Bs and 24 RBI.
