Led Cleveland's system in saves (35), the third most in the South Atlantic League and also appearances (62), which tied for the league lead.

Split the year between Kinston (A) and Canton-Akron (AA), posting a combined 4.02 ERA.
1996
Tied for third in the Eastern League in wins (13) and ranked ninth in ERA (3.61)...was also third in strikeouts (148) and fifth in innings (172.0).

1998
Began the season in Japan after he was sold by Cleveland to the Yakult Swallows on Jan. 5...made seven relief appearances with Yakult before being released...signed by the Indians to a minor league contract on Aug. 3 and assigned to Double-A Akron...promoted to Triple-A Buffalo on Sept. 6.
1999
Spent the year with Buffalo (AAA), finishing second on the staff in innings (132.1) and K's (90).
2000
Led the Pacific Coast League in starts (28) and innings pitched (179.1), while leading New Orleans with 12 victories...his 4.09 ERA ranked ninth in the PCL.
2001
In his second straight season at New Orleans (AAA), Travis led the team and ranked fourth in the Pacific Coast League with 11 wins...led the PCL in innings (178.2) and was 10th in ERA (3.78)...led the Astros farm system with 28 starts and his 145 strikeouts were second.
2002
Made his major league debut with Baltimore on April 26 after spending 10-plus seasons in the minors...became the fourth rookie in Orioles history to begin the year 5-0...among AL rookie hurlers, he finished fourth in innings (132.2), fifth in strikeouts (78), sixth in starts (19) seventh in wins (8) and eighth in ERA (4.95)...notched his first ML win in relief action May 21 at Oakland.
2003
Split time between Baltimore and its Triple A club in Ottawa...opened the year with Ottawa, going 2-0 with a 2.32 ERA in five starts...recalled by the Orioles May 5 and would go on to make 20 relief appearances before being optioned back on Aug. 12...earned his first career ML save June 12 vs. the Cubs, his first professional save since 1995 when he was in Double A...allowed runs in 14 of his 20 outings for the Orioles...worked 2.0 or more innings in 13 of 20 games, including a season-high 5.1 ip on June 26 at Toronto...was outrighted off the 40-man roster to Ottawa on Aug. 22.
