Went to major league spring training with SD as a non-roster invitee...Traded to MIL, 3/24...Opened the season with Huntsville (AA)...Released on 5/11...Signed with KC on 5/16 and got assigned to Omaha (AAA)...Had his contract purchased on 9/22 and made his ML debut, 9/24 vs DET...Collected an RBI double in his 1st career plate appearance (Jeff Farnsworth) and scored his first run.

Spent the entire season with Portland (AA), where he played alongside his brother, Derek... Collected a season-high 4 hits and 3 RBI, 7/15 at Trenton...Suffered a broken left hand, 7/19.

Played for Tacoma (AAA)...Hit .351 (20-57) over the final 2 months of the season.
