Ricardo Alberto Ledee
Ricardo Alberto Ledee...he and his wife, Theresa Kokinakos have two sons, Ricardo, Jr. (1/12/98) and Daniel (10/5/00) and a daughter, Teresa Paola (8/15/02)...is a 1990 graduate of Colonel Nuestra Sonora de Valvanera High School in Puerto Rico, where he played baseball, basketball and volleyball...played Little League and American Legion baseball...appeared in Universal Studios' "For Love of the Game" in 1999, a movie featuring Kevin Costner and Kelly Preston, as well as current Dodger Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully...his late father, Antonio, was the lead singer in one of Puerto Rico's top salsa bands before his death in 1985...enjoys training Paso Fino horses as a hobby...originally signed by Yankee scout G. Santiago.
2007
His contract was selected by the Mets from New Orleans (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League on June 8th...Was designated for assignment on July 8th and outrighted back to New Orleans on July 11th...Made nine starts for New York in leftfield...Had his only home run of the season, a solo shot in the eighth inning against the Minnesota Twins' Juan Rincon June 18th at home...Had three games with two hits, June 9th at Detroit, June 18th vs. Minnesota and July 5th at Houston...At New Orleans he had 16 games with two hits, five games with three hits and one contest with four hits, April 24th vs. Alburquerque.
2006
Claimed off waivers from the Dodgers in August, Ledee was expected to provide some pop in the lineup as a quality pinch-hitter, but he was unable to meet expectations. Ledee had a single in four at-bats in his second game with the Mets, but then had only two hits in 22 at-bats the rest of the season. Ledee did smack a pinch-hit homer against the Nationals in the seventh inning on Sept. 22.

Appeared in 102 games for the Dodgers, the third-highest total of his career while compiling a career-high .278 batting average ... Ranked second on the team with 35 pinch-hit at-bats and led the team with 11 pinch-hits ... His .314 average off the bench (11-for-35) was the sixth-highest of any player in the Major Leagues with 25 or more pinch-hit at-bats ... Battled a strained left hamstring throughout the season that sent him to the disabled list from June 5-July 8 and caused him to miss numerous other games ... Led the Dodgers with six sacrifice flies ... Batted .286 (62-for-217) against right-handed pitchers ... Was acquired by San Francisco from Philadelphia with minor league right-hander Alfredo Simon in exchange for right-hander Felix Rodriguez on July 30 ... Combined to hit .233 with seven homers and 30 RBI between the two teams ... Hit at .285 clip (35-for-123) with seven home runs and 26 RBI in 73 games with Phillies, but was just 6-for-53 (.113) with four RBI in 31 contests with Giants ...
