He also converted 12 straight save situations from July 5-Aug. 14, a season high. Opponents batted .265 off him. Recorded his 300th career appearance Aug. 8.

Combined to post a 4-1 record and 2.48 ERA in 1995 in nine games (seven starts) between the Gulf Coast League Rangers and Hudson Valley... averaged 9.7 strikeouts per 9.0 IP (43 SO, 40.0 IP)... tossed a 9.0-inning complete game, allowing six hits, in a win over the GCL Pirates on August 12... struck out a season-high eight in his final start at Gulf Coast, a victory over the White Sox on August 22.
