Batted .236 in 93 games at Tucson of the Pacific Coast League...hit .290 for the month of June...went 3-for-4 with two homers on May 11 vs Vancouver...hit in 19 of 23 games with 13 extra-base hits from April 10 through May 4...in the Arizona Fall League with Sun Cities, he batted .297 and led the league in RBI (38), tied for second in home runs (10), fourth in slugging percentage (.594) and fifth in extra-base hits (21)...on October 21 vs Mesa went four-for-five with three home runs and eight RBI.

1996

Split between Class A Stockton and Double A El Paso...batted .348 at Stockton and .286 at El Paso...combined for 25 extra base hits in 215 at bats...at El Paso on April 9 vs Midland he went 4-for-5 with a triple and a home run...from April 21-26 he batted .522...when leading off an inning he batted .556...closed the season at Stockton with a 13-game hitting streak from August 18 to September 1.

1995

Signed by Corey Rodriguez and Kevin Christman...began his professional career with Helena of the Rookie Pioneer League...batted .321 in seven games before being promoted to Class A Stockton in late July...spent just two weeks with the Ports, hitting three home runs in 47 at bats, before being promoted to Double A El Paso where he finished the season...in just his second game with the Diablos, he went 4-4 with four RBI in an 8-3 win against Midland on August 10...batted a combined .279 with four home runs and 34 RBI in 154 at bats on the season.
