He played in his 21st season of professional baseball in 2006 and appeared in 22 games with the Angels. Pride batted .222 with one home run and two RBIs in 27 at-bats. He missed two weeks late in the season with tightness in his lower back. The outfielder hit .311 with eight home runs, 44 RBIs and 54 runs scored in 87 games with Triple-A Salt Lake. Pride was brought up from the Bees on July 24.
