replacing the injured Matt Miller... saw five games with Detroit, collecting an 8.71 ERA over 10.1 innings...Worked 4.2 innings, his longest outing of the season, on April 5 vs. Cleveland (3 R, 5 H)...Allowed runs in four of the five games pitched with Detroit... tossed his lone scoreless effort on April 18 vs.
Tampa Bay, when he allowed two hits in 2.0 innings... returned to AAA Toledo on April 22.
2001
- Split his first season in the Tigers organization between Detroit and Triple A Toledo...paced the Mud Hens with nine saves.
- Opened the season in the Tigers bullpen, making two appearances before being inserted into the starting rotation in place of an injured Brian Moehler.
- Suffered the loss in his first start of the season April 10 at Minnesota...allowed six runs (five earned) on six hits in 4.1 innings.
- Worked a season-high 5.1 innings in his second start of the season April 21 at Cleveland...did not figure in the decision after allowing three runs on four hits as the Tigers suffered a 5-4 loss in 10 innings.
- Touched up for seven runs (six earned) on five hits and four walks in 3.1 innings as he took the loss against Tampa Bay on April 28.
- Made his fourth and final start with the Tigers on May 4, allowing four runs on eight hits in 2.1 innings.
- Placed on the disabled list on May 5 with a left shoulder strain.

- Had his contract purchased from Toledo by the Tigers on July 27 as he joined Detroit for his second stint with the club.

- Lefties batted .339 (21x62) with Perisho on the mound, while righties hit .320 (33x103) against him.

- After leading the Pacific Coast League with 15 wins at Triple A Oklahoma in 1999, he struggled during the 2000 season, going 2-7 with a 7.37 ERA.
- His season ERA was the second highest in club history among pitchers with 100-or-more innings, trailing only Darren Oliverbs 7.42 mark in 2000.
- Started the season in long relief...did not allow a run in giving up seven hits over 4.0 innings in his first four games April 5-25.
- Compiled an 8.10 ERA (18ER/20IP) in his next eight outings, all in relief...allowed 10 runs (seven earned) including two home runs and four walks in 2.0 innings May 5 against Oakland.

- Struck out a season-high eight batters August 14 against the Yankees.
- Returned to the bullpen after that loss and posted a 7.62 ERA (11ER/13IP) in eight relief appearances the rest of the year.
- Allowed five-or-more runs in eight of his last 11 starts.
- Lasted just 0.1 inning July 21 at Seattle, the shortest outing by a Rangers starter since Bobby Witt pitched 0.1 inning September 14, 1997 versus Minnesota...Perisho allowed seven runs (six earned) on five hits and gave up three walks in that game.
- First batters hit .400 (6x15) against him...opponents batted .316 overall, with lefties hitting .331 (47x142) and righties averaging .308 (89x289).

Rebounded from shoulder surgery to lead the Pacific Coast League with 15 wins in 1999.
- Led all Triple A pitchers and tied for second among all minor league pitchers in wins while with Oklahoma...tied for fifth among Triple A hurlers with 150 strikeouts, was fourth with 78 walks, and tied for 10th in strikeouts per nine innings (8.64).
- Tied for fourth in the PCL with his starts (27) and strikeout totals.
- Broke the Rangers all-time Triple A single season victory mark, held by Larry McCall who posted 14 wins in 1979.
- Named to the PCL post-season all-star squad...paced Oklahoma in wins, starts and strikeouts and was second in innings (156.1).
- Went 2-2 with a 4.38 ERA (12ER/24.1IP) in his first five starts, April 10-May 2...improved to 4-0 with a 5.82 ERA (25ER/38.2IP) in seven starts May 7-June 8.
- Earned the win in three consecutive starts May 7-17.
- Fanned a season-high 11 batters May 22 at Salt Lake City.
- Was 1-4 with an 8.37 ERA (22ER/23.2IP) in five starts June 14-July 4 but went 8-1 with a 2.71 mark over his remaining 10 starts for Oklahoma.
- Posted a season-best five-game winning streak July 9-August 1, allowing nine earned runs over 35.2 innings (2.27 ERA) and was 3-0 with a 1.96 ERA in his final three games.
- Recorded two complete games, one on August 1 at Edmonton and on August 17 versus Las Vegas.

- Was second on Oklahomabs staff with eight wins, the most by a Rangers Triple A lefty since John Barfield in 1989 (10) and was fourth on the staff with 15 starts.
- Went 6-1 with a 2.94 ERA (17ER/52IP) in his first eight starts with Oklahoma through May 13.
- Posted a complete game victory May 8 versus Fresno.
- Fanned a season-high 10 batters June 4 at Nashville.
- Was 7-5 with a 4.00 ERA in 15 starts, tied for fifth in the PCL in wins, when he was recalled by Texas on June 16.
- Returned to Oklahoma June 22...defeated Nashville June 26 for his final win of the season.
- Experienced pain in his shoulder during that game and was placed on the disabled list...activated July 23 but lasted just 2.1 innings against Tucson before leaving the game with pain.
- Underwent arthroscopic surghery on August 5 to repair partial labrum and rotator cuff tears in his left shoulder and missed the remainder of the season.

- Voted the sixth-best prospect in the Texas League by Baseball America.
- Was 5-2 with a 2.96 ERA in 10 starts, holding opponents to a .221 average.
- Issued three earned runs or less in nine of his 10 starts.
- Recalled by Anaheim May 23...optioned to Vancouver on July 7.
Went 1-1 in three starts before rejoining Anaheim on July 26...returned to Vancouver July 30 and went 3-6 with a 4.21 ERA in six starts for the rest of the year.
