Trever Douglas Miller
Trever has pitched in all or parts of 13 major league seasons with Detroit (1996), Houston (1998-99, 2006-07), Philadelphia (2000), the Dodgers (2000), Toronto (2003, 2011), Tampa Bay (2004-05, 2008), St. Louis (2009-11) and Boston (2011)...he signed a minor league deal with Chicago, January 27, 2012 and is an invitee to major league Spring Training...Is 18-17 with 11 saves and a 4.18 ERA (243 ER/523.1 IP) in 694 games pitched, all but five in relief...Has pitched at least 70 games in a season four times, including an A.L.-high 79 relief appearances with Toronto in 2003...His 589 relief appearances since the start of the 2003 campaign are the most among lefthanders...The Cubs are his 10th organization overall...he has pitched for eight major league clubs...Was a member of Tampa Bay's A.L.
