As part of the Pirates Jersey Patch partnership announcement, the Pirates and Sheetz came together to host a 9U team from Moon Little League for a special "Sheetz Run" with pitcher Colin Holderman and infielder Oneil Cruz. The young athletes joined their Major League heroes for a special shopping trip throughout the store to pick out their favorite Sheetz snacks, before sitting down together to enjoy a special Q&A session together. The Pirate Parrot and Mrs. T’s Pierogies joined the fun and helped pass out Sheetz and Pirates goodies to all of the kids. This is the first of many community initiatives the Pirates and Sheetz will do together as part of their newly-expanded partnership to help better the entire Pittsburgh region.

Pirates and Sheetz Announce Jersey Patch Partnership
The Pittsburgh Pirates and Sheetz announced a multi-year partnership in which the ultimate one-stop shop convenience chain will serve as the club's first jersey patch partner. As part of the marquee partnership, the Pennsylvania-based retailer will have its logo featured on the sleeves of Pittsburgh Pirates home and away jerseys, beginning on Friday, June 21 when the team hosts the Tampa Bay Rays.
"We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Sheetz and the Sheetz family," said Bob Nutting, Pirates Chairman. "Like the Pirates, Sheetz is an iconic local brand that is a part of everyday life in Pittsburgh and throughout the Western Pennsylvania region. Sheetz is a family-owned company that shares in our strong commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others in our community. Sheetz is the perfect partner to be featured on our first-ever jersey patch."
