EMERGENCY EVACUATION

In case of an emergency evacuation of PNC Park, guests with disabilities should monitor the main scoreboard and otherwise follow the direction of Pirates' staff for the evacuation plan of PNC Park.

ENTRY AND CARRY IN POLICY

For the 2021 season the Pirates will enact a ā€œNo-Bagā€ policy for Guest entering PNC Park. Exceptions will include bags ate are used for medical/ADA reasons, bags designated as diaper bags for care of infants and small toddlers, and small clutch purses that measure no more than 8ā€ X 5ā€ x 1ā€.

Bags carried for medical reason may be brough into PNC Park, after being properly searched by security. The bag must be tagged with a game/event special band to alert security staff and law enforcement the bag was admitted properly. Examples of medical reason may include but are not limited to:

The bag contains medical equipment to include monitors, pumps, prosthetics, special dietary supplements, hearing assistance devices, medicines, aids for autism spectrum disorders, breast feeding pumps and supplies. (Over the counter medications are generally not considered a medical necessity unless accompanied by medical directives from a physician.)

A ticket holder consents to allowing the Pirates to inspect ticket holder's and any accompanying minor's person and any bags, clothing, or other articles for security purposes, whether by walk-through metal detection, bag checks, pat-down search, or otherwise, upon entry and within the ballpark. A ticket holder acknowledges and agrees that ticket holder and any accompanying minor may be denied entry to or ejected from the game or event if they are in possession of any item or object that the Pirates consider potentially dangerous, hazardous, inappropriate, or injurious to other patrons, and any prohibited items may be confiscated. A ticket holder and any accompanying minor waive any claims that they might have against the Pirates or any Released Parties, as defined in the ASSUMPTION OF RISK - WAIVER section above. A ticket holder acknowledges that the Pirates and the Released Parties have no liability for ticket holder's or any accompanying minor's person or property. All bags are subject to search upon entry and within the ballpark. Soft-sided coolers and soft-sided briefcases are permitted. Hard-sided coolers and briefcases, ice packs and cooler inserts are NOT permitted. For the convenience of those Guests not carrying purses, fanny packs or bags into the ballpark, express lanes are offered at each gate.

Guests are permitted to bring bottled water and food. Water bottles should not exceed 24 ounces in size and must be clear, plastic, sealed and disposable. Childrenā€™s juice boxes and items necessary for medical purposes are permitted. Alcoholic beverages, carbonated beverages, sports drinks, cans, glass bottles, and thermoses are not allowed. Outside food and beverage is not permitted entry into the Home Plate Club, Suite Level, or Left Field Lounge areas.

For the comfort and security of all Guests, hazardous or disruptive items cannot be brought into PNC Park. Samples of these items that are not permitted include Bluetooth speaker, inflatable balls, hoverboards, balloons, motorcycle helmets, frisbee discs, drones, laser pointers, fireworks and footballs. Weapons and other dangerous or hazardous items are not permitted in PNC Park. The Pirates reserve the right to inspect and remove any packages and/or containers.

FAN TEXTING

If a Guest experiences difficulties with other Guest(s) in the ballpark or is in need of assistance from ballpark operations personnel for any other issue (medical, security, etc.), they are encouraged to use their mobile phone to anonymously text the word SECURITY and their seat location to 61592. The request will be received by PNC Park security, and the appropriate personnel will be dispatched to the appropriate location to respond to the request, as needed.

We have accessible seating in our Luxury and Party Suites. We do offer a private bathroom in our Luxury Suites. We do provide space for wheelchairs/scooters.

  • Every Luxury Suite includes a private restroom.
  • A family restroom is located on the Suite Level located outside of Suite 14.
  • Luxury and Party Suites have the ability to accommodate a guest's ADA-related seating needs.

QUIET ROOM

Guests who are in need of a quiet area can visit the Main Guest Relations Office located at the bottom of the Home Plate Rotunda.

RESTROOMS/FAMILY RESTROOMS

SENSORY INCLUSION

Partnering with Allegheny Health Network and KultureCity, PNC Park is striving to make Pirates games more inclusive and comfortable for guests with sensory processing needs. Located on our Suite Level in Suite 65 a sensory room is available for all guests with sensory processing needs. The room contains items such as bubble walls, sensory art panels, sensory touch panels, and bean bags. Guests will be allotted 15 minutes inside the room, and a Pirates team member will be available to assist with your needs.

Sensory Bags containing fidget toys, noise-cancelling headphones, weighted lap pads, and other sensory resources are available at no charge in the Main Guest Relations Office located at the bottom of the Home Plate Rotunda. A valid credit card or acceptable form of picture identification, such as a valid driver's license or non-driver government-issued photo ID card, is required as a deposit. Additionally, Pirates team members are trained to recognize opportunities to assist with these guests' enjoyment of the game.
