June 8th, 2017
PHOENIX -- The D-backs placed right-hander Zack Greinke on the paternity list Thursday morning and recalled Silvino Bracho from Triple-A Reno to replace Greinke on the roster.
Greinke, who started and got the win Wednesday night, must stay off the active roster for at least one day, but not more than three.
Greinke's wife, Emily, is set to give birth to the couple's second child.
This is Bracho's fourth stint with the D-backs this season. He has appeared in three games and has allowed six runs (five earned) in 2 1/3 innings. With Reno, Bracho was 2-1 with three saves and a 1.53 ERA in 15 games.
