New faces
De Andrade was No. 16 on the MLB Pipeline Top 30 international list when the delayed 2020-21 international signing period opened on Jan. 15. The Twins inked the Venezeulan infielder for $2.2 million and he has the chance to be an impact hitter, even if he ends up sliding over to third as he matures.
On the shelf
Lewis will miss all of 2021 due to his torn ACL. Balazovic’s back injury has him out for the time being, but he’ll head to Double-A Wichita once he’s ready.
