An unfortunate spate of injuries has impacted some of MLB's top stars. As we await their returns, here's the latest on when you might see them back on the field.

, RHP, Mets (10-day IL)
Injury: Right side tightness
Expected return: May 25
deGrom will return from the injured list to start Tuesday against the Rockies at Citi Field, manager Luis Rojas said Sunday.

, DH, Yankees (10-day IL)
Injury: Left quad strain
Expected return: Possibly May 25
The Yankees are hoping Stanton’s IL stay is a short one. The designated hitter is first eligible to return Tuesday against the Blue Jays.

, OF, Dodgers (10-day IL)
Injury: Hairline fracture in left leg
Expected return: Possibly week of May 24
Bellinger was scheduled to go on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday, which means his return to the Dodgers’ lineup could be around the corner.

, C, Phillies (10-day IL)
Injury: Left wrist bone bruise
Expected return: Possibly May 28
The Phillies placed Realmuto on the 10-day IL on Friday, nearly a week after he last appeared in a game. The move was backdated to Tuesday, so Realmuto is eligible to return next Friday.

, 1B, Mets (10-day IL)
Injury: Right hand sprain
Expected return: Possibly late May
Alonso became the latest Mets star to go on the injured list Friday. Alonso's right hand has been bothering him when swinging the bat, according to manager Luis Rojas.

, 3B, Pirates (60-day IL)
Injury: Left wrist strain
Expected return: Possibly June 3
Hayes was sent on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday. The third baseman is eligible to return from the 60-day IL on June 3.

, 1B, Reds (10-day IL)
Injury: Fractured left thumb
Expected return: Possibly early/mid-June
Votto took a big step forward in his recovery from a fractured left thumb Saturday, when he fielded grounders at Great American Ball Park. Prior to Saturday, Votto had been mostly limited to running the bases or doing light work work at first base without a glove.

, OF, Blue Jays (10-day IL)
Injury: Right quad strain
Expected return: Possibly early/mid-June
Springer is taking batting practice but hasn’t started running at full speed yet. The Blue Jays are being cautious with the outfielder after he aggravated his right quad injury just four games following his previous activation from the IL.

, OF, Twins (10-day IL)
Injury: Grade 2 right hip strain
Expected return: June
Buxton has been participating in pregame workouts on the field this week, but he hasn’t tested his hip with significant running.

, SS, Dodgers (10-day IL)
Injury: Fractured right hand
Expected return: Possibly mid-to-late June
Seager is expected to miss at least a month after fracturing his right hand when he was hit by a pitch last Saturday against the Marlins. The good news for Seager is that he won’t need surgery.

, OF, Mets (10-day IL)
Injury: Strained right hamstring
Expected return: Late June
The Mets placed Conforto and second baseman Jeff McNeil (strained left hamstring) on the 10-day injured list before Monday's game against the Braves.

, LHP, Red Sox (10-day IL)
Injury: Recovering from Tommy John surgery
Expected return: Possibly late June/early July
Sale is throwing bullpen sessions and working his way toward facing live hitters. May 30 will mark 14 months since the left-hander underwent Tommy John surgery.

, OF, Angels (10-day IL)
Injury: Grade 2 right calf strain
Expected return: Early/mid-July
Trout could miss six to eight weeks with a Grade 2 right calf strain, the Angels announced Tuesday. The superstar center fielder suffered the injury while running the bases in Monday’s game against Cleveland.

, RHP, D-backs (10-day IL)
Injury: UCL sprain in right elbow
Expected return: TBD
Gallen was scratched from his scheduled start on May 12 and placed on the 10-day IL with what manager Torey Lovullo said was a "minor sprain of one section of his UCL [ulnar collateral ligament] in his right elbow." Gallen is currently shut down from throwing. The D-backs are expected to consult with doctors next week to determine the righty’s rehab process.

Injury: Recovering from Tommy John surgery

Syndergaard (Tommy John surgery) was removed from his rehab start with Low-A St. Lucie on Tuesday due to right elbow soreness, the Mets announced.
