Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association jointly announced today the latest COVID-19 testing results conducted under MLB’s COVID-19 Health Monitoring & Testing Plan. The independent Utah laboratory has reported the following results during the past week:

Weekly Monitoring Testing:

• 11,713 tests conducted, with 6 new positive tests (3 players and 3 staff members); a 0.05% positive rate.

Total Monitoring Testing To Date:

• 111,312 tests conducted, with 31 total positive tests (20 players, 11 staff members); a 0.03% positive rate. Seventeen (17) different Clubs have had a Covered Individual test positive during Monitoring Testing.
