WARdle announces 'MLB Pickle' rebrand
Daily baseball player guessing game now playable at mlbpickle.com
Jeremy Frank and Zachary Ellis, co-creators of WARdle.app, the daily MLB player guessing game, will partner with the new MLB Play app for an exclusive sponsorship as they launch the rebrand of the game. WARdle will be renamed “MLB Pickle,” referring to a rundown a player may find themselves in between bases.
MLB Play, a free MLB mobile app available on the App Store and Google Play, allows fans to try other free-to-play games like Beat the Streak, Quick Pick and the brand-new Diamond Derby. MLB Play plans to work with Frank and Ellis on adding new features to MLB Pickle that will elevate the user experience, making the game even more enjoyable.
“MLB Pickle is a terrific way for fans to learn more about players across the game of baseball,” said co-creator Jeremy Frank. “Our exciting partnership with MLB Play further demonstrates our goal to provide an entertaining product while also attempting to grow MLB fans’ love for the game of baseball and its players.”
While all of the main mechanics behind the daily guessing game will remain the same, the game has undergone a visual touch-up. The game will also introduce new features and game modes as the 2022 season progresses.
Co-creator Zach Ellis said: “As an avid baseball fan, I’ve always wanted to help grow the game. We’re very excited that WARdle (now MLB Pickle) has reached the fanbase it has already and hope that with this partnership, we will help the great game of baseball become even more popular.”
