Twins-White Sox PPD; twin bill set for July 19

Monday night's series opener between the White Sox and Twins in Chicago has been postponed due to rain.

The game will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader on Monday, July 19, with Game 1 starting at 4:10 p.m. CT, followed by the nightcap approximately 30-45 minutes after the conclusion of the opener. Parking lots will open at 2 p.m. CT, and gates at 3:10 p.m. CT. Both games will be seven innings in length, and the White Sox and Twins can add a 27th player for both games of the twin bill.

The Twins will keep their rotation in line, just pushing each starter back a day. Kenta Maeda will start on Tuesday, with Bailey Ober and José Berríos taking the hill on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.

Please note the following ticket guidelines regarding Monday's postponed game and the July 19 doubleheader:

• Fans with tickets and parking coupons to tonight’s postponed game can use the value as a gift certificate to any future White Sox regular-season home game. All exchanges can be done at the Guaranteed Rate Field box office.

• Tickets for tonight’s postponed game do not transfer to the July 19 straight doubleheader or any future date. Fans must exchange or purchase new tickets to attend any future game, including the doubleheader vs. Minnesota.

• Fans with tickets and parking to the originally-scheduled July 19 game can attend both games of the doubleheader. Fans cannot leave and re-enter Guaranteed Rate Field between games of the doubleheader.

• Ticketmaster and Stubhub purchasers should contact their point of purchase.
