DETROIT -- For the second time in just over two months, the Tigers and Twins have been rained out at Comerica Park. This time, heavy rain washed out both ends of Friday’s scheduled doubleheader.

The two teams will make up one of the games as part of a split doubleheader Saturday. The first game will start at 1:10 p.m. ET, with Saturday’s originally scheduled game still on for 6:10 p.m. Tickets from the first game of Friday’s rained-out doubleheader are good for Game 1 Saturday. Both games are scheduled for seven innings.

The other game will be made up on Monday, Aug. 30, with a 2:10 p.m. ET game at Comerica Park on what had been scheduled as an off-day for both teams. Tickets from Game 2 of Friday’s rainout are good for that game, which is scheduled for nine innings.

The Tigers will carry over their original Friday plan for Saturday’s doubleheader. José Ureña will start Game 1, with no scheduled starter yet for Game 2. Wily Peralta had been scheduled to start Saturday, but he will be pushed back.
