From 1967 to 2012, only four players -- Barry Bonds, Alex Rodriguez, Albert Pujols, Manny Ramirez -- led their leagues in each of the three Triple Crown categories at any point in their careers, though none of them finished a season atop the leaderboard in all three.
Finally in '12, Tigers star Miguel Cabrera ended the 45-year drought, beating Mike Trout by four points (.330 to .326) in the American League batting race, besting Curtis Granderson and Josh Hamilton by one home run apiece (44 to 43) and knocking in 11 more runs than Hamilton.
