DENVER -- Watch all the basketball playoffs you want and you won’t see a better behind-the-back move than the one Rockies shortstop Trevor Story pulled off in the second inning against the Cardinals on Saturday night at Coors Field.

Pitcher Kyle Freeland’s pickoff move to first base rendered the Cardinals’ Harrison Bader hopeless for anything other than a mad dash for second base. First baseman C.J. Cron's throw took Story to the outfield side of second base. Bader tried sliding to the inside. But Story went cold Chris Paul on him, going behind the back and making a no-look tag.

It was the second time Story played (obscure guilty-pleasure movie reference) "BASEketball" this week. During Germán Márquez’s near no-hitter against the Pirates on Tuesday, Story leaped high enough for a slam-dunk contest to snag a Jacob Stallings line drive in the seventh inning.
