Here's a look at Wednesday's top Minor League performers from each team's Top 30 Prospects list:

Mariners: Julio Rodríguez, OF (MLB No. 5), High-A Everett
Rodríguez went 1-for-4 with a double in his first game back from the Olympic qualifiers. In his second, game, the 20-year-old exploded, going 4-for-5 with a double, homer and three RBIs. Rodríguez got off to a fast start with a run-scoring double in his first at-bat and a pair of singles in his next two trips to the plate. A subsequent groundout ruined a shot at a perfect night at the plate, but Rodríguez still had a bit more production left in his bat as he launched a homer, his sixth of the year, out to right in the eighth inning. Cardinals: Nolan Gorman, 3B (MLB No. 31), Double-A Springfield
Gorman is officially heating up. Not only has he now homered in back-to-back games, but the 21-year-old has also posted three straight multihit performances and is 8-for-14 over that stretch. Gorman went 2-for-3 on Wednesday and hit his fifth homer of the year, a three-run blast, in the third inning. Gorman is hitting .429 (15-for-35) in the month of June and .319 on the year. Pirates: Quinn Priester, RHP (MLB No. 40), High-A Greensboro
A pair of unearned runs muddied up Priester’s line a bit, but the 20-year-old right-hander threw well in his sixth start of the season. Priester threw 58 of his 89 pitches for strikes and struck out five over 4 2/3 innings. Priester didn’t give up an earned run or a walk, but did surrender six hits. The 2019 first-round pick (18th overall) has pitched to 3.86 ERA this season and held opponents without an earned run in three of his six starts. Blue Jays: Simeon Woods Richardson, RHP (MLB No. 73), Double-A New Hampshire
Woods Richardson turned in another solid effort for New Hampshire, allowing one earned run or fewer for the fourth time in five starts. The 20-year-old struck out five and surrendered a run on three hits and two walks while throwing 79 pitches, 52 for strikes. Woods Richardson retired seven consecutive batters and fanned four of six to end his outing. The 2018 second-round Draft pick has 36 strikeouts in 24 innings and a 2.25 ERA. Rays: Shane Baz, RHP (No. 76), Double-A Montgomery
Baz has been strong all season, but on Wednesday, he was perfect. The hard-throwing right-hander threw 39 of his 53 pitches for strikes and struck out six over five perfect innings. Baz also threw five scoreless frames in his previous start and has whiffed 14 over his past 10 innings. The 21-year-old has pitched to a 2.48 ERA and has amassed 49 strikeouts, compared to just two walks. Rays prospects stats »

Mets: Brett Baty, 3B (MLB No. 78), High-A Brooklyn
Baty went deep for the fifth time this season -- all coming in June -- and added a double for his 11th multihit game of the season. The 21-year-old put the exclamation point on Brooklyn’s victory with an opposite-field shot to left, his fifth homer in 27 at-bats this month. Although he ended May hitting .317, Baty did not go deep in 63 at-bats. The Mets’ 2019 first-round Draft pick leads High-A East batters with a .367 average and a .468 OBP, and is second with 28 RBIs. Reds: Jose Barrero, SS (MLB No. 90), Double-A Chattanooga
Barrero’s strong start to the season took another leap forward Wednesday with his first four-hit performance since 2018. The 23-year-old drove in two runs on a pair of singles and added a two-RBI double to establish a new career high with four. Barrero scored three times and improved his slash line to .316/.387/.531 with four homers and 22 RBIs in 25 games with Chattanooga. Reds prospects stats »

Angels: Robinson Pina, RHP (No. 16), Low-A Inland Empire
Pina got off to a rough start with High-A Tri-City this season, but a bump down to Inland Empire appeared to help the right-hander get back on track. Making his first start for the 66ers, Pina threw 55 of his 87 pitches for strikes and completed 5 2/3 scoreless innings with eight strikeouts. Angels prospects stats »

Braves: Freddy Tarnok, RHP (No. 11), High-A Rome
Tarnok picked up his first win of the year in his first appearance of the year. The 22-year-old, a third-round pick from the 2017 Draft, came out of the bullpen and fired four hitless frames in Game 2 of Rome’s doubleheader. Tarnok threw 34 of his 58 pitches for strikes, issued one walk and racked up eight strikeouts. Tarnok posted a 4.75 ERA over 22 starts in 2019 when he pitched across two levels. D-backs: Jake McCarthy, OF (No. 30), Double-A Amarillo
McCarthy fell a single shy of the cycle and drove in a career-high five runs to continue his hot start to June. The 23-year-old is batting .320 with four extra-base hits and six RBIs in 25 at-bats this month following his three-hit performance Wednesday. McCarthy tripled home two runs in the second and blasted a three-run homer an inning later. The 39th overall pick in 2018 is batting .252/.339/.514 with 14 extra-base hits -- six home runs -- and 22 RBIs in 27 games. D-backs prospects stats »

Dodgers: Andy Pages, OF (No. 8), High-A Great Lakes
Pages’ power surge continued with a pair of extra-base hits as the 21-year-old went 2-for-3 with a double, homer and two RBIs. Pages, who hit his ninth homer of the year in the third inning, has been gone deep in four of the eight games he’s played in June. Pages is hitting .248 on the season, but he hit a career-best 19 homers in 2019 and seems to be showing that putting up consistent power numbers will be part of his overall game as he continues to develop. Indians: Richard Palacios, 2B (No. 30), Double-A Akron
Palacios led Akron’s 14-hit attack with four of his own, including three doubles. The 24-year-old scored three runs, stole two bases and drove in a run during the third four-hit game of his career. Palacios has hit safely in 12 of his last 13 games, going 19-for-48 (.396) to increase his average 75 points to .309. The Brooklyn, N.Y., native missed all of 2019 after undergoing shoulder surgery but he doesn’t appear to have missed a beat. Padres: Brandon Valenzuela, C (No. 26), Low-A Lake Elsinore
Valenzuela fell a homer shy of the cycle while establishing career highs with four hits and four RBIs to power Lake Elsinore. The 20-year-old had a two-run single in the fifth inning and had a chance at a home run in the eighth before settling for another two-run knock. Valenzuela has three multihit efforts in his last five games to improve his slash line to .275/.365/.400 in 120 at-bats. Padres prospects stats »

Twins: Cole Sands, RHP (No. 15), Double-A Wichita
Spencer Steer, 3B (No. 30), High-A Cedar Rapids
After giving up five runs, four earned, in his previous start, Sands bounced back in a big way against Tulsa. The 23-year-old yielded just one hit as he struck out eight and cruised through 5 1/3 scoreless frames. Sands, who has held opponents to one earned run or fewer in four of his seven starts, has pitched to a 2.84 ERA through 31 2/3 innings this season. Opponents are also hitting just .190 off Sands in his first extended taste of Double-A.

Steer’s power surge continued Wednesday with two more round trippers as part of a three-hit, four-RBI performance. The 23-year-old has gone deep in three consecutive games, including a pair of multi-homer performances, to give him five long balls in 14 at-bats. He entered the streak with two home runs in his first 97 at-bats of the season. Steer’s hot stretch has lifted his slash line to .270/.397/.505 with 12 extra-base hits and 16 RBIs in 29 games for Cedar Rapids. Twins prospects stats »
