Here's a look at Tuesday’s top Minor League performers from each team's Top 30 Prospects list:

Royals: Bobby Witt Jr., SS (MLB No. 3), Triple-A Omaha
Witt continues to see the ball well in Triple-A and had another strong night at the plate in Game 1 of Omaha’s doubleheader against Iowa. The Royals’ top prospect homered and drove in four runs as he went 2-for-4 at the plate. Witt has batted .282 and posted a .992 OPS to go along with seven homers and 21 RBIs in his first 78 at-bats in August. Nationals: Keibert Ruiz (MLB No. 19), Triple-A Rochester
Brady House, SS (MLB No. 60), FCL Nationals
Ruiz had his first multihomer game while with the Nationals organization as he went 3-for-5 with a pair of homers and drove in three runs. The 23-year-old hit a two-run homer to right field in his first at-bat of the game, then hit a solo homer to right field in the seventh inning of Rochester’s 9-2 win over Syracuse. The change of scenery hasn’t seemed to slow down Ruiz. Since arriving in Rochester, Ruiz has batted .306 and has a .907 in 16 games.

Just two games into the start of his pro career, House has shown some of the power that made him a 1st-round pick in the 2021 Draft. The 18-year-old hit his first professional homer in the form of a grand slam and drove in four runs. House made his pro debut on Monday and has gone 4-for-6 and driven in five runs for the FCL Nationals. Nationals prospect stats »

Rockies: Zac Veen, OF (No. 55), Low-A Fresno
The 19-year-old had a career day as he hit for the cycle which included belting a grand slam and driving in seven runs. Veen singled in the first inning, cleared the bases with a grand slam in the second inning and then doubled in the sixth. He completed his historic day by tripling home two runs in the eighth inning of the Grizzlies’ 12-9 win over the Nuts. In his first season in the Minors, Veen has hit 15 homers, driven in 72 runs and is batting .309 with a .936 OPS in 90 games with Fresno. Rockies prospect stats »

Mets: Ronny Mauricio, SS (MLB No. 58), High-A Brooklyn
Mauricio was a double shy of hitting for the cycle as he went 3-for-3 with a homer, a triple and four RBIs. Mauricio’s three-run homer was his 18th of the season and second in his past three games. The switch-hitting shortstop came into Tuesday with a .214/.282/.443 slash line in August after batting .286 with a .839 OPS in July. Despite the offensive dip, Mauricio has driven in 17 runs in August, which are the most he’s had in a month this season. Mets prospect stats »

Padres: MacKenzie Gore, LHP (MLB No. 62), Rookie ACL Padres
Making his second start since June 18 after dealing with blister issues while at Triple-A El Paso, Gore was strong in an ACL rehab assignment. The southpaw twirled 5 2/3 scoreless innings, yielding just three hits and striking out seven. Padres prospect stats »

Astros: Shay Whitcomb, INF (No. 21), High-A Asheville
Whitcomb, who was called up from Low-A Fayetteville on June 29, had his best day at the plate in High-A. The 22-year-old went 4-for-5 with two doubles and four RBIs in the Tourists’ 13-6 win over the Grasshoppers. His four hits tied a career high and are the most he’s had in a High-A game. Over his past 15 games, Whitcomb has batted .345 after batting .258 with a .314 on-base percentage in his first 25 games since being assigned to Asheville. Astros prospect stats »

Braves: Luke Waddell, SS (No. 29), High-A Rome
Three weeks into his professional career, Atlanta’s fifth-round pick from the 2021 Draft cranked his first two pro home runs. In consecutive at-bats in the seventh and ninth, Waddell belted solo shots to right-center and to right to rally Rome from a 4-3 deficit to a 5-4 win over Bowling Green. Tuesday’s showing was just Waddell’s second multihit game since being drafted, but it lifted the Georgia Tech product’s slash line to .217/.294/.370 through 14 games in the High-A East circuit. Dodgers: Andy Pages, OF (No. 5), High-A Great Lakes
Pages held onto his High-A Central home run lead by hitting homers No. 24 and 25 of the season on Tuesday. After teammate Ryan Ward took the Central lead by hitting his 24th dinger in the fourth inning, Pages hit an inside-the-park home run an inning later to tie for the lead, then regained the lead by belting a two-run homer to left field in the sixth inning. Marlins: Kyle Nicolas, RHP (No. 17), Double-A Pensacola
In his fourth appearance in Double-A, Nicolas had his most effective outing yet. The 22-year-old threw 6 2/3 scoreless innings, allowed three hits and struck out five batters in Pensacola’s 1-0 win over Mississippi. The scoreless performance marked the third straight scoreless outing of five innings or more for Nicolas. In his first four games since moving to Double-A, Nicolas has a 0.68 ERA across 26 2/3 innings and has a 0.90 WHIP. Marlins prospect stats »

Orioles: Mike Baumann, RHP (No. 10), Triple-A Norfolk
After posting a 6.65 ERA in his first eight games in the Minors this season, Baumann has turned things around and continued that bounceback Tuesday. He threw five scoreless innings and struck out five batters despite allowing four hits and three walks to the Jumbo Shrimp. Since giving up seven runs (six earned) in 2 1/3 innings during a June 25 start, Baumann has posted a 2.09 ERA across his past 43 innings. Pirates: Cal Mitchell, OF (No. 18) Double-A Altoona
Mitchell set a career high in hits and a season high in RBIs after going 5-for-5 with five RBIs in Altoona’s 16-5 win over Richmond. The 22-year-old came into Tuesday’s ballgame with a .261 average in his past 45 games after batting .306 through his first 157 at-bats of the season. White Sox: Jake Burger, 3B (No. 3), Triple-A Charlotte
For the second straight night, Burger put up two hits and left the yard. On Tuesday, both of the third baseman’s hits were home runs and he reached three times. Burger swatted a pair of solo shots for Charlotte, going yard to right-center in the bottom of the fourth inning and to left field in the bottom of the ninth. The performance marked Burger’s first two-homer game as a professional after the slugger missed the 2018 and 2019 seasons with injury. White Sox prospect stats »

Yankees: Josh Breaux, C (No. 18), Double-A Somerset
Breaux went 3-for-3 with a double and a home run in Somerset’s 6-2 win over Akron, which marked the most hits he’s had in a game in Double-A. Since getting the promotion to Double-A, Breaux has batted .273 in 14 games. Breaux, who has hit three homers in Double-A, hit 17 home runs with High-A Hudson Valley before he getting called up on Aug. 3. Yankees prospect stats »
