BALTIMORE -- A little over three weeks from now, Orioles third baseman Timothy Beckham hopes to come off the 60-day disabled list.
Beckham, who underwent core muscle surgery, is eligible to return June 23, and he thinks he'll be able to.
"It's coming along well," Beckham said of his rehab, which has mainly been at the Orioles' Spring Training complex in Sarasota, Fla.

Beckham was hitting .179 with a home run and four RBIs in 23 games before landing on the DL April 25.
"I feel like I'm on schedule," Beckham said. "Everything's been going well in the rehab. Just taking it day by day and keep pushing it."
Rasmus begins rehab assignment
Outfielder Colby Rasmus, who has been on the 10-day disabled list since April 7 with a left hip flexor strain, was scheduled to begin a rehab assignment at Double-A Bowie on Friday, and closer Zach Britton was also scheduled to throw his second rehab inning at Bowie.
Rasmus was just 2-for-21 (.095) in eight games with the Orioles before he was placed on the DL.

"I'm just going to go out tonight and try to play like my hair's on fire and try to help those boys win a game," Rasmus said.
Orioles manager Buck Showalter said that he thought both Beckham's and Rasmus' injuries played a role in their disappointing stats.
"I'm looking forward to both of them getting back and [giving us] a shot in the arm," Showalter said.
Valencia returns
Third baseman Danny Valencia, who was on the paternity list, was reinstated on Friday, while left-handed reliever Donnie Hart was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk.
