DETROIT -- The Tigers pounced on the Black Friday sales craze by putting single-game tickets on sale over the Thanksgiving weekend. For the Christmas-New Year’s holiday, they’re giving fans a chance to look ahead to spring and summer at Comerica Park by putting customizable Tigers flex plans on sale.

The plans start with as few as three games and can go up to 14. The more games in the plan, the more games are available, and the more benefits fans receive. With a little planning, it’s a good way to set up a summer of fun and excitement at the ballpark with access to tickets for big games before single-game tickets go back on sale in the new year.

The three-game plan qualifies fans for the discounted flex plan rate. Games available include the AL contending Orioles April 25-27, the Red Sox on May 12-14, Willy Adames and the Giants May 26-28, Elly De La Cruz and the Reds on June 13-15, Oneil Cruz and the Pirates on June 17-19, the AL Wild Card series rematch against the Astros on Aug. 18-20, Juan Soto and the Mets on Sept. 1-3, and ALCS rematches against the Central champion Guardians on May 22-25 and Sept. 16-18.

A five-game flex plan includes access to premium series against the Yankees on April 7-9, the Cubs on June 6-8, the Blue Jays on July 24-26 and the Braves on Sept. 19-21.

A seven-game plan allows fans to choose from games on the full home schedule, including access to tickets for the Tigers’ home opener on Friday, April 4 against the White Sox.

Once a plan gets to 10 games, all plan fees are waived.

Looking for more than 14 games? The Tigers have set up a pair of 15-game plan options, both including the home opener. The weekend plan consists entirely of weekend games, starting with four in April then two or three per month from there, usually a game every other weekend. The marquee plan focuses on popular matchups, including a game each against the Yankees, Orioles, Red Sox, Giants, Cubs, Twins, Mariners, Blue Jays, Diamondbacks, Astros, Mets, Guardians and Braves.

Partial season ticket packages include 28-game plans that include access to all Friday, Saturday or Sunday games. Half-season packages include the Horton and Kaline plans. And of course, full-season plans are also available.

The Tigers also have special single-game ticket packages on sale for select promotion nights, including heritage nights (Macedonian, Polish American, Jewish, Filipino, Canadian, Italian, Irish and Hispanic), university nights (Michigan State, Michigan, Wayne State, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, Central Michigan, Northern Michigan, Grand Valley State, Ferris State, Lawrence Tech and St. Clair College), Law Enforcement Night, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

A Star Wars ticket package for Friday, May 9 against Texas includes a Colt-bi-Wan Keithnobi bobblehead. A Peanuts 75th Anniversary ticket package for Sunday, June 8 against the Cubs includes a special Snoopy bobblehead in Tigers gear with a glove and a ball. A Stranger Things ticket package for Friday, Aug. 8 against the Angels includes a Hawkins Tigers hat.

Need a break from the Michigan winter and can’t wait for Opening Day? Spring Training tickets are on sale, from single games to five-game flex plans to season tickets. Group tickets are also available.

Still looking for single-game tickets? They’ll go back on sale closer to Spring Training.
