Texas Rangers announce 2018 Opening Day roster
The Texas Rangers made the following roster moves today to get to the Opening Day limit of 25 players.
Arlington, Texas -- The Texas Rangers made the following roster moves today to get to the opening day limit of 25 players:
--Selected the contract of RHP Kevin Jepsen from Triple-A Round Rock.
--Designated 1B Tommy Joseph, who was on option to Double-A Frisco, for assignment.
--Placed four players on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to March 26:
RHP Tony Barnette (lower back strain)
RHP Tim Lincecum (blister on right middle finger)
LHP Martin Perez (recovery from right elbow surgery)
RHP Ricardo Rodriguez (right biceps tendinitis)
