Enter HR Derby Bracket Challenge today
Perhaps the most exciting contest relating to one of the most exciting events on the baseball calendar is officially back.
Fans can enter the T-Mobile Home Run Derby Bracket Challenge ahead of the T-Mobile Home Run Derby on Monday at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. (8 p.m. ET on ESPN). Make round-by-round predictions of the eight-player Derby for the chance to win four tickets to the 2018 World Series and a $500 Mastercard gift card.
This year's participants are:
Left side of bracket
- Jesus Aguilar, Brewers vs. 8. Rhys Hoskins, Phillies
- Alex Bregman, Astros vs. 5. Kyle Schwarber, Cubs
Right side of bracket
- Bryce Harper, Nationals vs. 7 Freddie Freeman, Braves
- Player Page for Max Muncy, Dodgers vs. 6. Javier Baez, Cubs
Here are the rules:
• Visit mlb.com/bracketchallenge and follow the instructions to complete the entry form ("Entry Form") inclusive of registering to participate in the contest
• Follow the instructions provided to complete the bracket
• Make your selections for which players will win each round
• Make your prediction of the final home run totals for each of the players participating in Round 3
• Answer the tiebreaker question asking for a prediction of the longest home run's distance during the Home Run Derby (as determined by Statcast™)
Entries must be received by Monday at 7:59 p.m. ET to be eligible.
In the event one of the eight participants drops out, a replacement will be named by MLB, at which point it is the contestant's responsibility to resubmit a new bracket should they determine it would impact their selections for any matchup.
Here is how scoring is determined:
• Five points for each correct Round 1 choice
• Ten points for each correct Round 2 choice
• Fifteen points for correctly selecting the Home Run Derby champion
A perfect score would be 55 points if a participant correctly selects every winner in all three rounds of the Derby.
Only one entry will be allowed per valid email address or telephone number.
