Former MLB All-Star Steve Delabar and Mariners reliever Jonathan Aro were among three Minor Leaguers suspended Monday, the Commissioner's Office announced.
Delabar, a six-year Major League veteran who made the 2013 American League All-Star team as a member of the Blue Jays, received an 80-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Ostarine. Delabar is on the roster of the Columbus Clippers, the Indians' Triple-A affiliate. As a result of the suspension, Delabar would not be eligible for the postseason if he were to be promoted to the Majors.
Aro, who is currently on the roster of Seattle's Triple-A affiliate Tacoma Rainiers, received a 50-game suspension following an unspecified violation. Aro appeared in one game for Seattle in 2016 and six for the Red Sox in '15.
Right-handed pitcher Jeffry Hernandez received an 80-game suspension after testing positive for Stanozolol. Hernandez is a free agent who has never appeared in the Majors and last pitched for the Cubs in the Dominican Summer League in 2014.
