'No Shoes Nation' tour comes to Target Field on Friday, July 12

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, Minn. – Tickets for the “Corona Light Presents Kenny Chesney’s 'No Shoes Nation' Tour” at Target Field are sold out. Due to the incredibly high demand, tickets sold out at approximately 10:30 a.m. CST, a mere half hour after going on sale to the general public.

Fans unable to secure tickets are asked to check back at www.twinsbaseball.com/concerts as a limited number of seats may be released by the promoter for public sale in the coming months.

In addition to Kenny Chesney, the ‘No Shoes Nation’ concert at Target Field will include the GRAMMY Award winning Zac Brown Band, whose latest album “Uncaged” debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 along with Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgraves.

Target Field’s inaugural concert held on Sunday, July 8 2012, featured Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw’s 'Brothers of the Sun' Tour with special guests Grace Potter & the Nocturnal as well as Jake Owen. The inaugural concert drew a total of 43,897 fans – an attendance record for Target Field.

“Kenny Chesney's performance in last summer's inaugural concert at Target Field was historic and unforgettable on so many fronts," said Dave St. Peter, Twins President. "With those special memories in mind, the Twins are honored to have Kenny Chesney's "No Shoes Nation Tour" visit Target Field. We expect this to be another great concert at Target Field, a place on its way to becoming the best outdoor music venue in the region.”

This second-ever concert at Target Field is a part of Chesney’s 17-date stadium tour across the country.

"I believe what we've created on the road is something special," says Chesney, "the fans, myself, the band, the crew. But it's really the fans who have given us a wonderful, unique life. What we've all built together is the 'No Shoes Nation.' There is no better name for this tour."
