Oh expected to return for series vs. Dodgers
SAN FRANCISCO -- Rockies righty reliever Seunghwan Oh, who has not pitched since Sept. 9 because of left hamstring tightness, threw a bullpen session and did pregame activities Sunday and should be available in the Rockies' bullpen during the three-game road series against the Dodgers that starts Monday night.
"I still have to talk to the trainers but I threw a full bullpen today and felt fine," Oh said through interpreter Eugene Koo.
Oh is 2-0 with a 3.06 ERA in 20 Rockies appearances since arriving in a trade with the Blue Jays on July 26.
"He's doing better -- threw a side session yesterday and we put him through some paces earlier today to make sure he could get his confidence in his hamstring, so we expect him soon," manager Bud Black said before Colorado's Sunday finale vs. the Giants. "It's truly day to day. Initially, our trainers thought it would be four days, five days, but it's been a little bit longer.
"He's getting closer, and we need him -- we need all those guys. If there's a silver lining, it's been a good break for his arm."
