The Dodgers tendered contracts to their six players who are eligible for salary arbitration -- Cody Bellinger, Corey Seager, Walker Buehler, Julio Urías, Austin Barnes and Dylan Floro before Wednesday’s deadline to do so.

In addition, the Dodgers signed left-hander Scott Alexander, who had been eligible for arbitration, to a one-year, $1 million contract earlier in the day. Alexander had a 2.92 ERA in 12 1/3 innings over 13 games.

All remaining unsigned players on the Dodgers’ 40-man roster also were tendered contracts for the 2021 season.

The Dodgers will now try to work out deals with their six arbitration-eligible players. If they cannot reach an agreement by Jan. 15, the player and team must each submit a salary figure for the upcoming season and a hearing is scheduled for February.

If they still can’t come to an agreement by the time of the hearing, a panel of arbitrators listens to each side’s case and then selects one of the two salary figures (nothing in between) as the player’s salary for the upcoming season.

Seager can become a free agent following the 2021 season. Alexander and Barnes are eligible for free agency after the ’22 season. Bellinger and Urías are under Dodgers contractual control through ’23 and Buehler through ’24.
