MESA, Ariz. -- The Royals made two more roster moves on Sunday, following the options of six players to Triple-A Omaha on Friday.
Veteran right-handed reliever and former All-Star Brandon League was released from his Minor League contract, and Minor League first baseman Brandon Dulin was traded to the White Sox for either a player to be named or cash, according to team officials.

League, 34, has performed well in a comeback effort after not pitching in the Majors since 2014, when he was a reliever with the Dodgers. He was released by the Dodgers in July 2015 and underwent shoulder surgery two days later, which kept him from pitching until this spring. League posted a 3.60 ERA in five Cactus League appearances, and he allowed no runs in his last three relief outings. He has a career 3.65 ERA in 498 Major League games spanning 11 seasons. He was an All Star in 2011, when he saved 37 games for Seattle.
League was a long-shot to make a full Royals' bullpen, but the release two weeks before Opening Day gives the opportunity for another team to get a good look at him for its big league roster.
Dulin, 24, was a 12th-round pick by the Royals in the 2013 Draft. He spent most of last season with Class A Lexington, and has a .255 (224-for-877) average with 26 homers and 122 RBIs in 232 Minor League games.
