KANSAS CITY -- Prior to the Royals-White Sox game on Saturday, Major League Baseball and the Royals held their Pitch Hit & Run official youth skills competition at Kauffman Stadium.

The top 12 baseball and top 12 softball qualifiers from Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas and Nebraska competed with the winners advancing to the National Finals during the 2019 Major League Baseball All-Star Week in Cleveland:
