BOSTON, MA—The Boston Red Sox today optioned left-handed pitcher Cam Booser to Triple-A Worcester.

Booser, 32, has posted a 3.00 ERA (10 ER/30.0 IP) with 34 strikeouts in 27 games this season, allowing zero runs in his last nine outings. The left-hander has also pitched in six games with Worcester, allowing seven runs in 9.0 innings with 18 strikeouts and only one walk. The Washington state native was signed by Boston as a minor league free agent on February 6, 2023.
